Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This policy covers the Dice Go app for Android and this website. The site uses no cookies, does no profiling and carries no measurement tool: the roller runs entirely in your browser.
1. Data Collected
Preferences, statistics and roll history stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. What does leave the phone is this: usage events and crash reports sent to Google, described in section 3, and the device advertising ID used to serve the ads, described in section 2. If you bought the ad removal, the purchase is handled by Google Play and the app keeps no payment data.
2. Advertising
Ads are served by Google AdMob and are always non personalised: they are not used to build a profile of your interests. The advertising ID is still needed to cap how often an ad appears and to prevent fraud: you can reset or delete it in the Android settings, under Privacy.
3. Usage Measurement and Crash Reporting
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. Analytics receives usage events: which setting you changed and its new value, how many dice and how many faces you rolled, and which screens you opened. Every event carries a pseudonymous identifier of this installation and the IP address of the request; we only read them as aggregate numbers. Crashlytics sends one report per crash, with the device model, the Android version, the memory state and a technical identifier of the installation. Neither of them receives your name or your email address, and the advertising ID is excluded from this measurement in the app configuration.
4. Use of Data
Statistics, preferences and history only show you your own numbers and never leave the device. Usage events and crash reports are shared with Google, which processes them as a data processor on our behalf. The advertising ID is shared with Google to serve and measure ads. Your IP address reaches Google with every ad request and every measurement call, as it does with any internet connection.
5. Automatic Updates
The app may use Google's In-App Update service to offer updates, and it may show the Google Play rating window. Neither of them sends any data of ours.
